I was so completely shocked to see a Facebook post that stated "Search intensifies for runner Micah True in NM". For those of you who have read the book Born to Run he is best known as Caballo Blanco aka "The White Horse". He went out for a 12 mile run on Tuesday and did not return to the lodge where he was staying. As a reader one might think that since he is a bit of a wanderer perhaps he just decided to "run away".
Author Christopher McDougall described Caballo as a "phantom", a "fairy tale", and even a "Loch Ness Monster". He spent days searching for Caballo without success and almost gave up looking. I hope that's the case now and that he is out there running. Here is a link to one of the articles:

He is a running legend and I know that many runners are just as shocked as I am. Please say a prayer for Micah True! As a fan and an avid runner I will be praying that he is found soon and that he is safe. And if you have not read this book I recommend that you do- now.
